I I'm running for city council because I've always been. Well, since starting college, I've been interested in. Politics. And it led to business, so I've majored in business and politics, and I really love my city. I care about the people. I Want safer streets for our kids? I don't want block cameras out of our city. And I believe we have a really great police department that truly cares about our city, our kids, And The overall community. And You know, I believe Creating community within the community, um, opening up communication amongst different races and just having open dialogue. can really lead to Creative solutions within our city. And that's what I want to bring. I want to bring connection, community, open discussions.
I believe that our inclusionary housing ordinance can be. be improved to match the current times and or To hold B Corpse. Accountable, um, letting them know that. Our community consists of. Low income households. Um, we have about 4 to 5 families living in one house, you know, and that's what it's always been.
But we can't build homes unless we improve our deteriorating water pipes. and water infrastructure.
We still need safer streets. We don't have bumps over there on Bromar, and bumps could really improve, um. The the speeding that occurs around that school. Uh, I don't want to get rid of flat cameras because Block cameras is actually what's. Keeping crime out of East Palo Alto. Um, OK. Safer streets means small businesses can operate within city limits and make money day in and day out.
